The short version. Roadie doesn't run servers on your listening. Your library lives in your own iCloud. We don't sell your data, we don't track you across other apps or websites, and there are no third‑party advertising or analytics SDKs in the app.
Roadie ("the app", "we", "us") is an album‑first music companion published by Recreational Math. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and the choices you have.
Your saved albums, Up Next queue, crates, ratings and private notes are stored on your device and synced through your personal iCloud account using Apple's CloudKit. That private data sits in your iCloud container — we can't read it, and it moves between your devices through Apple, not through us.
The only data that leaves your private iCloud is the information you choose to make part of Roadie's social features (Road Crew). When you set up a public card or share your library, the following is written to Roadie's shared (public) CloudKit database so other people you connect with can see it:
All of this is used only to make the app's social features work — showing your card to friends, letting people follow you, and letting you follow them. None of it is used for advertising, and none of it is used to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
Searching for and adding albums uses Apple's MusicKit. Your use of Apple Music is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. Roadie stores only the album details you save (title, artist, artwork reference, year, genre).
Roadie is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect data from them.
